The skills to become a successful permanent or contract recruitment consultant are essentially identical. You will have to have a burning desire to succeed, have a huge amount of passion, determination and self belief. If you can bring these core attributes we will do the rest in ensuring you become a successful recruitment consultant. If you have previous B2B experience with an understanding of structured sales then so much the better but it is not essential as we do have a dedicated and comprehensive training programme which will take you from the basics through to the cutting edge of sales.
The role of a recruitment consultant is primarily phone based but we feel it is essential for you to go out and meet your clients and forge strong business relationships therefore you should be presentable, approachable and be aware that you will need to build new and sustain current relationships.
