Job Description
My client is a world leading IT consultancy that has a strong presence in the Financial services / Investment banking community. They are currently looking to recruit a talented Project Manager who has solid deployment experience coupled with the following skills;
· Management of programmes/projects as per Business requirements, including, but not limited to :
Ø Implementation of custom services
Ø Deployment of new services and products
Ø Build-out of existing services and products
Ø Service migrations
Ø Service improvement projects and programmes (e.g. new service delivery tools and processes)
Ø Mergers and acquisitions
· Excellent communication skills required (written & verbal)
· Proven technical management experience
· ITIL Foundation Certificate mandatory
· Microsoft Project
· Experience in managing technical and Business relationships
· Strong analysis, problem solving and decision making
· Self-discipline and works well within a team or individually
· Willing to accept/take responsibility and problem ownership
· Broad knowledge of the operational and technical architectures within the Bank and of suppliers where appropriate
· Ability to provide direction and vision both within and outside area of responsibility
· Strong influencing, negotiation and team building skills and the ability to influence outside scope of responsibility
