Senior Front End Developer; XHTML, CSS, Javascript
My Client is a leading player in the online gaming sector based in Central London and they need an experienced, expert Front End developer to assume leadership of the front-end team.
You will be responsible for the front-end coding of all company websites and working with an off-site back end development team.
This role requires about 50% hands-on XHTML/CSS/JS coding, 20% graphic design, 20% guiding middleweight designers, and 10% writing specs for the back end developers.
You will be required to have the following skills.
- XHTML / CSS compatible across IE 6,7,8, Firefox, and Safari.
- W3C standards.
- Flash animation (basic actionscript a bonus).
- Javascript / HTML DOM.
- Conceptual knowledge of server side scripting.
- Proficiency with Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
- Grasp of design principles such as proportion, colour, type, and space.
- Understanding of on-site search engine optimisation.
- Proven experience at a senior level.
