Job Description
My client is a leading name in private and public sector construction. Due to a rapid growth and demand for their products and services they have an urgent need for a business analyst to join their IT and Business team.
You will be responsible for developing client requirements and creating technical specifications. You will liaise closely with strategic business teams to develop and deliver a coherent business/technical strategy for the company. You will be working closely with technical teams and very senior business stakeholders.
You will be confident in dealing with director level stakeholders and have a good knowledge of the UK construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good working knowledge of the UK construction industry with a strong knowledge of both the business and technical/IT sectors
- A proven track record of developing specifications and requirements.
- A strong working knowledge of IT and how it can be applied to solve business problems.
- Excellent technical research and documentation knowledge.
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work closely with large and small teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
The role is based in Hertfordshire however some UK travel will be required.
